Art Contest Update

As you may already know the website was down for a short time. It is back and I will be updating some things now and again. The art contest is a little bit behind due to technical problems that have arisen along the way. Hopefully things will start to move in a forward direction again soon.

Art Contest

Posted by: Jeremy Hughes

Unfortunately we cannot afford to hire professional artists and have them create the artwork that we would love to have. So, as a new and budding game producer we thought it would make more sense to attract artists that have just as much to gain by submitting art to us for free as we do. What we can do is allow for some artists out there that aren't quite professional (yet) to show the world what they can do. In the coming weeks we will be posting more information about an art contests that will allow aspiring artists a chance at getting a piece of art in our RPG Guide Book, "The Reconstruction 2990: Rulebook." This will allow us to get our product to a presentable state and allow you to get some much deserved recognition.

The first phase of this contests will be a trial run. We will post about 10 different descriptions and layout areas. Each of these will be a category of sorts. The winning piece from each category will be used in the book.

If the first phase goes well we will continue with another set of 30 to 50 categories whose winners will not only be eligible to become published but will compete against each other for cash prizes of up to $100.00.

We will include more details when we post the initial 10 categories. Until then please keep a close eye on the site for any changes and feel free to email me if you have any questions.
